Turaga beach giveaway teaser:)

"I will clean up the beach and pack what I can carry. The future awaits and I want to travel light".

Now I am wondering if any of this old “driftwood” would be of interest to the fans out there. I want to send it back into circulation by giving it away to people who appreciate a piece of the "making of the legend".
I have everything from an old (unused) Piraka crew t-shirts to laser printed layout posters with pinholes from the actual presentations back in 2000. I was thinking of making an unboxing video of the old crate you see below and choose 10 or more items of interest.
I will make a list of the items and ask you to put in a comment to participate in the giveaway. Just wanted to check if there was any interest out there. If that is the case you will hear further...

Goodbye to Turaga beach

Log update from Turaga beach.
"I don’t know my exact location. None of my instruments are functioning but this view is amazing. The sunrise looks surreal from my spot on the beach. I have just awakened from a long sleep. I don’t know how long I have been unconscious. In front of me lies the infinite ocean with an unreal silhouette on the horizon. It looks like a figment of my imagination. Maybe it is just a strange cloud formation. Things look weathered and overgrown around me. It seems I know the place, the beach where it all started but at the same time it feels foreign and changed, filled with memories and ghosts of the past. To the right of me is a rough strange looking shed build out of all kind of scrap materials and littered around me lie boxes and tubes with unknown content. I have forgotten how I ended up here but there were many battles, victories and defeats. Now it must be time. I have to move on from this place. I don’t want to become another spirit of the past. I will clean up and pack what I can carry. The future awaits and I want to travel light.
It is time to say goodbye to Turaga beach".

Rocket - custom LEGO edition

Celebrating all the years with Advance and LEGO I got a custom build Rocket at the Advance christmas party last friday and I think it is simply the coolest thing so here it is. Many thanks to the LEGO designer who build it. I will add your name as soon as I get it confirmed.

This Rocket is an extremely flexible craft.
The Imaginaut (who in this case will be me) travels on a combination of imagination, passion, curiosity and skill.
Currently it has one seat but it can easily expand to seat more travellers. The Spherical design and special tri-engine setup gives it the ability to hover, fly backwards and land on any surface. It is under constant redesign and will be adjusted to handle any specific situation, even time travel or hostile conditions. I can instantly shrink to pocket size or go invisible if required.

Faber Files Proudly presents “Rocket”

This is actually a concept I created back in 2010. It was designed to symbolize the journey you take when you try to create new stories and envision new worlds. The tagline was “Rocket – cruising the infinite space between the ears”.
Now it has become a symbol of the change I’m about to make. The 15th of October 2014 I had been working for 28 years at Advance in Copenhagen and it has been an incredible journey with so many fantastic adventures it is hard to keep track. Since 1986 I have been working creatively on average 4 different LEGO lines every year so when added up that is quite a number. For many reasons 2014 have been the year of change and I have realized that to progress further I have to risk going into the unknown. From the 1st of January 2015 I establish my own 1-man setup and why not call it “Rocket”. From this setup I will still work as a freelance with Advance on LEGO projects but also give full attention to “Rebel Nature” and some other ideas I have in the drawer. This blog will be an important communication tool so thanks for all your support and just wait and see. I will be a lot more active out here in the time to come. I would be great to get some more of you as followers, nudge, nudge;)

Graffiti fall in Copenhagen

Just next door to the office nature has taken over this parking lot, and the graffiti

Designed by coincidence

I took this picture just to test the colors but when I looked closer and tilted it slightly a strange face appeared. Almost a ancient wooden version of Ironman. Do you see it?:)

Mutated brittlestar eats plastic and produces energy

A mutated brittlestar has found a way to feed on trash floating in the ocean. Soon it will supercharge. Get ready for Rebel Nature

Just another morning on my way to work in CPH:)

Copenhagen is a beautiful city but right now most of the town is undergoing construction work. The new Metro is being build with stations popping up all over the city. In this case at the Town hall. This morning it looked like the prep for a rocket launch with astronauts boarding, tall cranes and dramatic haze so I gave the thought a little help:)

When nature and technology connect even an octopus can be airborn. Res' favorite companion, the extremely intelligent octopus "8to", will be the first to move above water.
