REBEL NATURE is a full-blown IP in development across multiple media platforms including app games, VR experiences, music, museum and science projects as well as a live action feature film “Waveborn” set in a near-future world where technology and nature has joined forces and humanity has become the endangered species… 

To help him bring the IP of REBEL NATURE and feature film “Waveborn” to life Christian Faber has founded the production company Goodman Rock and gathered an interdisciplinary team of accomplished creative forces, including writer Merlin P. Mann, producer Thomas Lydholm, Jeppe Nygaard Christensen and Martin Gårdeler of internationally renowned visual effects company, Ghost VFX.

Classic Cryoshell like never before

Dear Cryoshell supporters, both the loyal fans from back in 2006 when the whole thing started and hopefully a growing number of new followers that will discover the band for the first time now.
We are extremely happy to finally start bringing out something new and this single is a very special song that has it's own history.
10 years ago "Gravity Hurts" was heard for the first time. Now a decade later "tension is rising" and this is the first time Christine has recorded the tune. The orchestration is a dream come true. To have a full Symphonic orchestra perform this tune truly shows off the filmic qualities of Cryoshell's music. A great collaboration between Budapest Art Orchestra, Mikkel Maltha and Peter Due arranging and Jacob Hansen mixing and off cause Christine on this demanding and emotional vocal.
We think this is the perfect way to kick off the next phase of Cryoshell. The sound of the band is evolving but the epic themes and big emotions are intact. You will soon hear more examples of what Cryoshell sound like in 2018 and both electronic and acoustic sounds will blend into the next album, "Next to Machines". The plan is to release a full album some time this spring and even issue a limited vinyl edition. Cryoshell merchandise is also on the drawing board and you will be the first to know when and how to get closer to the truth and to the band.
We are reissuing all the old Cryoshell material and this time on our own label. All material will be available on all digital platforms in the future. This is a new beginning and if you measure the warmup period we are more than ready for action. We are a independent company and all efforts are self financed so every download and play counts. Thanks for your support.
We can't wait to bring you the next single and hopefully it will launch within weeks. Something will also hit Youtube in a short while so as we have said many times "stay tuned"

Cryoshell from 2006 to 2017 and beyond

This is a small tribute to all the people who have followed Cryoshell since 2006 and their amazing patience. Now you can be a part of this new beginning. We will keep the epic feeling alive but take it to a new place beyond the horizon with a new purpose. Say hello to the band on their first day on the new project. Nobody knows the future but you can be certain it is coming so choose your course and remember to bring some personal and powerfull music.

Cryoshell Kickstarter 2. April 2017

I am thrilled to tell you that the Kickstarter for Cryoshell 2017 is now fixed to 2. of April and it feels so good to be back in the Cryoshell work zone with Christine, Kasper & Mikkel. Hopefully we can send you updates and keep you posted until April the 2nd.

Everybody talks about their bucket list...

...if I ever had written a bucket list, this is one thing I would never have dared to put on. But then again..., there it is ...
I recommend not writing things down on a list making your dreams into assignments but follow your heart, stay curious, a bit humble and creatively hungry, have fun and embrace coincidence. To but it short "Do good work". Scrap the lists and the impossible may happen.
I'm immensely honoured to have my name on this ad in Cinefex where Ghost VFX thanks ILM for the assignments on Rogue One - A Star Wars story. I'm so impressed and proud of all the people at Ghost VFX for constantly chasing the dream, the excellence and the skill.

Cryoshell & RebelNature 2017 teaser

The wait has been way too long but very soon Cryoshell will open a Kickstarter campaign that will decide the future of the band. The RebelNature story and universe will be the inspiration but the number of new tunes and the ambitions will be decided by the Kickstarter and the longtime and new supporters and fans. Soon you can be part of the Cryoshell legend.

NOT just another day at the Ghost office!!!

It was never in question but today it is official that Ghost VFX deliver the stuff legends are made of. The poster you see here with dedication from ILM and the director, appeared in the Ghost office and we all vent to Copenhagen's biggest cinema to see Rogue One and guess who was on the creditlist...
Ghost VFX is simply the best and most dedicated company with the coolest crew.
It is amazing, quite surreal and historic for a Danish company and it promises great for future epic projects like our own Rebel Nature. Christmas definitely came early this year.

A new setup and a new gallery

The name Faber Fuel comes from the idea of this faraway FF "Gas"station in the middle of an amazing rocky dessert where all kind of vehicles and characters land to get re-fueled before going on new adventures. The travelers both give and get inspiration and stories and they know that this is no ordinary fuel. It is FF Zero G and it neutralizes gravity giving amazing positive lift and power to go anywhere. Zero G basically gives you the power to travle infinite distances and infinite time in a single thought with almost no harmful emission:)
The FF station is just a thought away and I hope to see you there for a refill, a chat and new adventures.

Cryoshell meets RebelNature. A 2016 Kickstarter project

Dear fans of Cryoshell, fans of the original biological chronicle and fans of new and different stories and legends.

This is the teaser of a collaboration between Cryoshell and the team behind RebelNature.

“and the Faber15 award goes to…:)”

The Faber15 award is taking shape.
A small step for creativity...:)

It is not everyday that you receive an award but it is even more rare to have an award named after yourself. Nevertheless now that has happened to me!

Last year when I decided to leave my perfect job for 28 years as art director and partner at Advance Copenhagen to pursue my wild creative dream. The good people at Advance created a prize that would be given once a year to a person or team for outstanding and courageous creative work at the agency. At the Advance Christmas party last Friday it was given for the first time and before that I had taken the task to do the statuette (oh-oh, what to do?).

The astronaut theme came natural. When doing creative work it often feels like floating in free and unknown space with the hope that you are on the right track and that you will get back to earth at some point. Hopefully you will be able to depict and describe what you have experienced and make it into communication.

I found a box of Super Sculpey and started modeling. I cut up an old IPhone cord for the tubing, then paint and stickers. The statuette ended up as a desktop pencil holder and I placed a Faber-Castell pencil in the small crater so the ultimate creative tool “the pencil” (or apple pencil) would always be close at hand. For the other hand I did a jerry can full of Faber Fuel (New Anti-gravity formula). The box is a reused IPad package and there you have it: The Faber15 award. Handmade, sustainable and made from recycled materials and creative hope for the future.

In my street in Frederiksberg/Copenhagen, in a almost hidden basement lies one of the greatest nerd shops. Stoppel Hobby and they have anything a model nerd could wish for.

Last weekend I found this "unthinkable" product. It is the blend of 3 of my most important childhood influences: Airfix meets LEGO meets Spitfire. Amazing! I haven't seen any advertising for this product but it is so cool.
Of cause it doesn't have the detail level of normal Airfix models but I put it together in 5 minutes, without glue or paint! then it is ready play or display. That would have saved me a lot of poisonous paint/glue time and headaches in my childhood.

COP21, Make a positive footprint, please!

Right now World leaders are gathering in Paris for COP21 where the future of life as we know it is being debated and decided. Talking about an epic challenge. This is our reality and our legend. Forget Star Wars and galaxies far away. This is Earth and it is happening right now. I wish that saving the planet could get as much attention and energy from creative and resourceful people across the globe as a feature fantasy film universe that is soon in theatres worldwide.
Here is my hope for COP21 put into poster form. Please share and/or like and lets take action to make things better. We better fix these environmental problems because nobody will be leaving this planet in the near future and the moon is not an option.

Friday 13th 2015. The sad day Mona Lisa lost her smile

It is hard to find words for the events in Paris.

When it comes to ways of thinking this almost seems like WW3. The past fighting with the present about the future.

Here is the impact shown on a classic painting form Paris. Now her smile is gone but the dream of freedom and peace is stronger than ever. We have so many common problems on this planet that we could begin to solve, if we could stop fighting and killing each other.
